ORGANIC PIGMENT POWDERS

Organic Pigments are water insoluble compounds. In the field of organic pigments the development is most extensive. There is a growing demand for this pigments because high degree of fastness in all sector of pigments consuming industries such as paint, plastic, printing ink, rubber etc. They are known for their brilliant colour and high tinting strength. They provide colour, hiding power and high visibility and contribute to durability.

Phthalocyanine pigments have strength and outstanding all-round fastness properties.

INORGANIC PIGMENT POWDERS

Inorganic pigments powder are generally used in decorative protective and functional coatings. They provide mass colouration for fibers, plastic, paper, rubber, glass, glazes, cement and porcelain enamels. They are also used in cosmetics and inks.

REACTIVE DYES

M & H – high reactivity dyes for dyeing and selected printing application. ‘H’ – dyes of Moderate reactivity for dyeing & mostly suitable for printing. Vinyl sulphone dyes – dyes recommended for printing as well as Dyeing.

‘HE’ – dyes for dyeing with high exhaustion.

’ME’ – dyes for Exhaust dyeing at low temperature.

ACID DYES & MORDANT DYES

Dyes in this range find their main application on Wool, Silk, Polyamide and Regenerated Fibers. Other important uses are in the dyeing of Leather, Paper, Jute & Straw.

DIRECT DYES

This class of dyestuff are employed for colouration of Cellusosics, Paper, Leather, silk, Jute etc. and are employed for production of economical shades where requirements of fastness to various conditions are not exacting. This class of dyestuffs has a wide range & easy applicability on cellulosic fibers.

BASIC DYES

Basic dyes produce very bright shades on Cotton and Viscose Rayon. These are also employed for dyeing of pure silk, Jute, Leather, Paper, Fur etc. Other uses include inks, carbon paper etc.

SOLVENT Dyes

Kankai offers a wide range of oil soluble colours for colouring oils, waxes, candles, petrol and other solvents, resin, ink etc.
